Tab setting से text के starting pointing  को set किया जा सकता हैं।

Tab को set करने के लिए सबसे पहले ruler bar की आवश्यकता होती है।

   View menu  >  Ruler ✅

Tab के types : अलग अलग type के tab है, जिससे अलग अलग तरह की text की position set होती है।

1. Left indent tab : इस tab से पुरे paragraph की starting position को left से set कर सकते हैं। इसका Icon (L) होता है

2. Center tab : इसका icon होता है। तथा इससे document का matter center align हो जाता है।

3. Right tab : इसका icon होता है तथा इससे document का matter align हो जाता हैं।

4. Decimal tab : इसका icon होता है तथा इससे number के decimal points align होता है।

5. Bar tab : इसका icon होता है तथा इसकी position set करने से वहा एक bar बन जाती है।

6. First line indent : इस tab से paragraph के first line की starting position set होती है ।

7. Hanging indent : इस tab से paragraph के first line को छोड़कर बाकी के matter की starting position को set कर सकते है।
