When starting with Photoshop, it’s important to first learn about

Color Modes, Layers, and Zoom/Navigation tools.

 

 

Class 1: Photoshop Basics

Color Modes in Photoshop

  1. RGB Color – Red, Green, Blue (Digital Screens के लिए)

  2. CMYK Color – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (Printing के लिए)

  3. Grayscale – Black & White Mode

  4. Lab Color – Advanced Color Model

  5. Bitmap – सिर्फ Black & White Pixels

 

NOTE:- firstly duplicate image then work (edit) on it.

हमेशा Image को पहले Duplicate करें और फिर Editing करें।

 

Zoom & Navigation

  • Mouse Scroll → Zoom In/Out

  • अगर Mouse से Zoom काम नहीं करता तो:

    • Ctrl + K > Tools > Zoom with Scroll Wheel > OK

  • Ctrl + + : Zoom In

  • Ctrl + - : Zoom Out

  • Ctrl + 0 : Fit in Window

  • Ctrl + Alt + 0 : 100% View

  • Ctrl + N : New File Open

 

 Layers in Photoshop

 

  • F7  -> layer window open

3.Fill /opacity

4. Blending mode

5. Show / hide

6. Lock / unlock

7. Feather (Hardness) : (Soft Edges of Selection)

 

 Foreground & Background Color

Default : Black & white (D)

X :- switch foreground & background colors

F:- Screen mode change

Tab key :- Tool bar visible & invisible

Ctrl + R :- rular bar open > right click > unit change

 Tools & Practical Editing

1.Rectangular :- Selection Tools

Alt + shift : Intersection ( common selection ) show

Ctrl + D : selection delete

Ctrl + shift + D : Reselect

2.Move tool (V) : image move

3.Lasso tool : freehand selections

4.Polygonal lasso tool : create straight edged selections

5.Magnatic lasso tool : make a selection by snapping to image edges.

 

6.Magic wand tool: select similarly colored image areas

 

Properties bar : tolerence set

F8 : information window open

 

7.Quick selection tool: makes a selection by finding and following the edges in an image.

8.Crop tool (C) :ratio set then crop  > Image cut

 

For Border:

Edit > stroke > width: 16 px > black color > inside > ok

Edit > stroke >  width: 16 px >  center > ok

 

Other Useful Tools

 1.Red eye tool : - red eye color remove

2. Spot healing brush :- face spot heal

3. Healing brush tool :- Alt ds lkFk use , previous effect dks nqljh txg ij ykukA

4. Patch tool :- selected area effect dks  nqljh txg ij ys tkus esa A

5. Content aware move tool :- selected area  dks  move  djukA

6. Clone stamp tool :- move thing one image to another image

7. Eraser tool

8. Blur tool

9. Sharpen Tool

10. Smudge Tool

 

 Dress Editing on Image (Practical Example)

Step 1

take image > duplicate image

Step 2

 polygonal lasso tool > select area of face > ctrl+ shift+ I (outer area select )  > Edit > cut   , Then  adjust the feather

Step 3

File > open > DTP > dresses

*if layers are more then one :

1. propertie bar > Auto select on

2. image > right click > top layer select

3. ctrl + click on object

Ctrl + T   > adjust the dress on image
