Starting point of the text can be set from tab setting.

To set the tab, first of all a ruler bar is required.

View menu > Ruler ✅

Types of Tab:-  There are different types of tabs, which set the position of different types of text.

1. Left indent tab:- With this tab, the starting position of the entire paragraph can be set from the left. Its icon is (L)

2. Center tab:- It has an icon. And with this the matter of the document gets center aligned.

3. Right tab:- It has an icon and with this the matter of the document gets aligned.

4. Decimal tab:- It has an icon and with this the decimal points of the number get align.

5. Bar tab:- It has an icon and by setting its position a bar is formed there.

6. First line indent:- With this tab the starting position of the first line of the paragraph gets set.

7. Hanging indent:- From this tab you can set the starting position of the rest of the matter except the first line of the paragraph.
