How to Open MS Word?

  3. Double-click the Default Printer.

  4. Select “Cancel All Documents”.

  5. Click Yes.

6. Close (Close the Current Document)

  • Used to close the currently open document.

7. Recent Documents (View Recently Used Files)

  • Shows the list of documents that were recently opened or created.


 Protecting a File

You can add a password to protect your MS Word document.

Steps:

  1. Go to File → Save As.

  2. Click Tools → General Options.

  3. Enter Password to Open (e.g., 123).

  4. Enter Password to Modify (e.g., 123).

  5. Re-enter the password → OK.

  6. Click Save.

 

Now your document is password protected. Without the password, no one can open or modify it.
